Graphic Design Internship
Position: Graphic Design Intern, Unpaid Co-op for School Credit
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Reports to: Director of International Relations
About Aventure Music Group
Our parent company is a Venture Capital, a Private Equity firm in Wall Street, New York. Our businesses include: Group of Labels, Artist Management and Rights Collection, Production, Publishing, Real Estate and Property Management. Through various labels, we have distributed approximately 7,000 tracks over the years. We manage multiple record labels, music publishing operations, DJs and singers, distribution, photo / video as well as recording studios and a Booking / Events department.
Responsibilities
Graphic Design
Proficient in Adobe Software including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Proficient in Microsoft office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Proficiency with video editing software like Final Cut Pro is a plus
Ability to work with 3D designs and motion graphics is a plus
On occasion travel to various destinations
Provide creative ideas for photographs and provide solutions to improve quality of the final piece
Maintain in-house photo library
Work closely with Marketing Team and Social Media Team
Requirements
You must have previous graphic design experience outside of school projects
Previous experience in graphic design for music projects is a plus
You must have experience with Adobe and Microsoft Software
You must know various analog, digital output and storage formats
You must be able to manage multiple projects
You must have a strong professional ethics and a commitment to confidentiality
You must be fluent in English (other languages are a plus) and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
You must have a good knowledge of clubbing culture, the electronic music scene and a good understanding of the music industry in general
You must be able to work alone as well as part of a team
You must be organized and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
